When we got through with this wedding (the longest of our careers at 11 hours!) we knew we were leaving with some of our favorite wedding images ever. Jessica is an art/design graduate who has poured the better part of the last year into this wedding and it showed. We love brides who plan the little details that make their wedding oh so special! I found out before the wedding that she designed the bridesmaids’ dress herself. They looked more beautiful than any other I had seen before! Every decoration from the name cards to the center pieces were hand made by Jessica. But she wasn’t the only one who put in physical effort. Neil, the groom, built a bridge over the pool at the ceremony location so Jessica would have a center aisle to walk down. Yeah. He loves her.
The wedding was held at the Itylldoo House on St Simons Island, right on the beach! The house is beautiful inside and out. It’s the best wedding preparation/ceremony/reception venue we have been to in our opinion. The ceremony was held on the deck overlooking the river between St Simons and Jekyll. The reception was held on the lawn closer the house. The portraits were done on a trolley, at the Avenue of Oaks, on the beach by the lighthouse, and on location at the house.
Congratulations Jessica and Neil!
