Directions to Coast Guard Beach / East Beach, St Simons Island, GA

Coast Guard Beach or East Beach (it is known by both names) is our go-to beach on St Simons. It is the only area of the beach where tides do not affect our ability to have a session at any time. It is also away from development so we get a beautiful scene without buildings and other structures. It has easy access to the dunes and waves for great variety. 

It is located at 4201 1st St, Saint Simons Island, GA 31522. This is the address for the Old Coast Guard Station which is now the Maritime Center. You will park just past this in a large parking lot (no parking fees).  Then let's meet on the boardwalk between the parking lot and the beach.
