We were so happy to be featured on the King & Price Resort blog today. Evelyn and Zach had an amazing wedding (that I have not blogged yet, doh!) and it shows off their amazing style in a beautiful location.
A Surprise Sea Island Lodge Wedding Proposal with Chas and Julie
I met Chas on the putting green of the Lodge, one of the most scenic places on St Simons Island. The Lodge is also home to two of Sea Island’s golf courses and the McGladrey/RSM Classic.
Chas’ and I chat about how he was going to propose in just a few minutes after Julie arrived in the Oak Room with her family–who were all in on it. We picked out a spot and planned their path from the Lodge to the awaiting roses and Champagne. With the bagpiper playing in the distance, Chas and Julie exited with smiles as big as could be. He led her by the water and when they arrived, asked her to marry him.
She said yes!
After they had some time together we walked a little bit further to take photos with the amazing sunset we were given.
Congrats Chas and Julie!

Cole Proposed to Kelsey on Jekyll Island Driftwood Beach!
On a perfect evening a couple weeks ago, I arrived at Jekyll Island’s Driftwood beach with my wife Amanda and my son Caedmon for an undercover photo session. Cole contacted me to photograph him proposing to his girlfriend Kelsey amongst the driftwood.
A guy standing there alone with two cameras and a bag of gear on the beach looks a tad out of place. So to keep suspicions low, I brought Amanda and Caedmon along to sit on a towel with me as I waited for them to arrive. Once they did I got a small glance but nothing more before Cole dropped to one knee and proposed. It was beautiful to watch! She said Yes!
Afterward, he pointed us out and we walked over to meet them. She told us she wondered why we were taking pictures of them but it never crossed her mind that we were there for them! I guess my family worked as great camouflage. :)
Then we had a quick portrait session after the driftwood beach proposal to celebrate the day!
